Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security (NPS CHDS)

October 2007 - Present

The Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense & Security (CHDS) has been the nation's premier provider of homeland security graduate and executive level education since 2002. NPS and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are partnering to pioneer the development and delivery of homeland security education programs for governors, mayors and senior homeland security leaders from across a wide spectrum of disciplines in local, tribal, state and federal government, and the military.

MAC serves as the lead contractor for the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) in support of the Center's many programs to include the Master of Arts Degree, Executive Leaders Program (ELP), Executive Education Seminars held by the Mobile Education Team (MET), University & Agency Partnership Initiative (UAPI), Online Homeland Security Courses, Homeland Security Digital Library (HDSL) and the Homeland Security Affairs Journal (HSAJ).

Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Strategic Integration)

March 2009 - Present

The office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, Strategic Integration (DASA (SI)) provides research and analysis to enhance infrastructure support to the Army for stationing efforts, future infrastructure requirements, transformational strategies and performance metrics. DASA (SI) administers a research program to address tomorrow's infrastructure challenges and to continually develop improvements for Soldiers, civilians, families and the Joint team.

DASA (SI) also provides oversight for strategic planning and the Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. This includes participation in Army's business transformation efforts and policy and strategy development as well as primary oversight for the preparation, justification, and defense of the Installations and Environment portion of the Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Budget.

MAC provides program and analytical support to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Strategic Integration), offering business methodologies and flexible resourcing to achieve client goals and objectives that increase value to processes and procedures. Currently, MAC supports the U.S. Army's efforts in the realignment of the European Theatre through program support of Infrastructure Consolidation efforts designed to identify excess capacities and streamline personnel and fixed infrastructure to meet Army future goals and objectives.

Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy / Deputy Chief Management Officer (DUSN DCMO)

September 2009 - Present

The Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy / Deputy Chief Management Officer supervises the Business Transformation Office, and oversees and coordinates Department business processes and oversees CPI activity, promulgates guidance, and leads institutionalization of CPI across the Department of the Navy.

In support of DUSN DCMO office MAC assisted in the development, implementation, assessment and sustainment of the Department of the Navy (DON) Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiative and served as system administrator for the DON's Continuous Performance Improvement Management System (CPIMS).

Department of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development & Acquisition)

June 1999 - September 2010

The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN (RD&A))_is responsible for all acquisition functions and programs, and for the enforcement of the procedures of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. The Assistant Secretary establishes policies and procedures and manages the Navy's Research, Development and Acquisition activities in accordance with Department of Defense Acquisition policy.

MAC provided continuous contractor support services to ASN ((RD&A) from June 1999 through September 2010. In this capacity, MAC additionally supported the Navy Acquisition Reform Office, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Acquisition & Business Management, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Acquisition Management), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Logistics), and Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Management and Budget). MAC's success and longevity were due to value-added work, flexibility, and hands-on experience that our associates provided to the senior leadership at ASN (RD&A).

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)

December 2006 - December 2011

NAVSUP's mission is to provide Navy, Marine Corps, Joint and Allied Forces with products and services that deliver Combat Capability through Logistics. We manage supply chains that provide material for Navy aircraft, surface ships, submarines and their associated weapons systems. We provide centralized inventory management for Navy's non-nuclear ordnance stockpile.

MAC served as the senior consultant for NAVSUP's Lean Six Sigma Continuous Performance Improvement (LSS/CPI) Program. Reporting to the NAVSUP/ASCENT CPI Deployment Director, MAC was a key enabler to the improvement of business processes that directly affected Fleet readiness and Warfighting capabilities. Specifically, MAC supported the Black Belt team that assisted in the implementation of the NAVSUP Single Supply Solution through use of phased approach Business Transition Plans (BTP) to transition Business Processes to ERP. Additionally MAC was a core member of the DoN-American Society for Quality (ASQ) team that developed Black Belt and Green Belt training standards and testing certifications for the U.S. Navy.
